We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of

Equipment Coordination Specialist

to join our team at the

Foxbridge Logistics Centre

in Normanton, Wakefield.

We are looking for a skilled Coordinator who is eager to acquire new competencies and enhance our operational processes.

In a regulated and dynamic environment with fluctuating workloads, you will need to demonstrate flexibility, determination, and the ability to perform under pressure. We seek someone who is enthusiastic about learning, motivated by challenges, and resilient in the face of obstacles.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Equipment Coordination Specialist, you will oversee the Equipment Hire desk, supporting our Operational teams in Waste Water Service Delivery with various temporary pumping and aeration solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Planning and coordinating both reactive and proactive requests via phone and email.
  2. Managing all inquiries from initiation to completion, utilizing internal resources or external contract partners as necessary.
  3. Arranging site visits when required.
  4. Collaborating with various teams to ensure effective communication and execution.
  5. Securing quotations and obtaining approval for mitigation solutions from site managers prior to deployment.
  6. Liaising with site operators and contractors to schedule installation and decommissioning dates.
  7. Coordinating transport for the deployment and collection of equipment.
  8. Maintaining and updating a variety of weekly and monthly performance and expenditure reports.
  9. Validating financial transactions related to internal and external hires.
  10. Arranging services, repairs, and breakdowns for all internal and external equipment.
  11. Managing purchase orders through the designated procurement system.
  12. Monitoring stock levels of internal hire equipment.
  13. Tracking live hires and providing updates on resolutions and expected off-hire dates.
  14. Updating internal systems when mitigation measures are in place.

There may also be occasions where additional support is needed for other Coordinator functions within the services provided by Foxbridge Logistics Centre.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across various teams and with external contractors.
  • Proven ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize your workload effectively.
  • A solid background in administration with a proactive attitude.
  • Experience in customer management and issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with SAP is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
While not essential, the following will be beneficial:
  • Previous experience in a coordinating or planning role.
  • Experience in a similar environment or within the utilities sector.
