About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced service engineer to join our team at Nationwide Platforms.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering to work with our fleet of powered access machines.

As a Workshop Service Engineer, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our machines to ensure they are in good working condition for our customers.

You will work closely with our Senior Service Engineer to ensure the effective running of the depot workshop and will be required to carry out pre-delivery inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting the Senior Service Engineer in the effective running of the depot workshop.
  2. Carrying out pre-delivery inspections of machines at client premises and at the depot.
  3. Repairing machines at the depot or on-site as required.
  4. Completing planned maintenance activities, including maintaining the appearance of the fleet to corporate standards.
  5. Handing over machines to customers and familiarising them with safe machine operation.
  6. Acting as an ambassador for the company, providing a high standard of customer care.
  7. Accurately completing all relevant paperwork.

We are looking for someone with relevant general engineering maintenance qualifications, preferably to NVQ level 3 or equivalent, and experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics fault finding.
