About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced service engineer to join our team at Nationwide Platforms.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering to work with our fleet of powered access machines.

As a Workshop Service Engineer, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our machines to ensure they are in good working condition.

You will work closely with our Senior Service Engineer to ensure the effective running of the depot workshop and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out pre-delivery inspections of machines at client premises and at the depot, ensuring they meet manufacturer's specifications and company policy.
  2. Repair machines at the depot or on-site as required, using your mechanical and electrical engineering skills.
  3. Complete planned maintenance activities, including maintaining the appearance of the fleet to corporate standards.
  4. Handover machines to customers and provide training on safe machine operation.
  5. Act as an ambassador for the company, providing a high standard of customer care.
  6. Accurately complete all relevant paperwork, including engineer's reports and service sheets.
About You:
  1. You will have a relevant general engineering maintenance qualification, preferably to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  2. You will have experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics fault finding.
  3. You will understand the importance of excellent customer service.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5:30pm.
