About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced service engineer to join our team at Nationwide Platforms.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering to work with our fleet of powered access machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Senior Service Engineer in the effective management of the Depot workshop.
  2. Conduct pre-delivery inspections of machines at client premises and at the depot, ensuring compliance with manufacturer's specifications and company policy.
  3. Repair machines at the depot or on-site as required, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
  4. Complete planned maintenance activities, including routine checks and maintenance tasks.
  5. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a high standard of care and attention to customers.
  6. Accurately complete all relevant paperwork, including engineer's reports and service sheets.
About You:
  1. Relevant general engineering maintenance qualification, preferably to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  2. Experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics fault finding.
  3. Strong understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.
