We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our newly built Residential Service specialising in Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and other complex needs for young adults situated in the Swansea region.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background and experience as a Manager within a Residential setting looking after adults. A good understanding of compliance and background of working with Adult Learning Disabilities and Autism is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

  1. ">
  2. Lead and manage the Residential Service to ensure high-quality care and support for residents.">
  3. Maintain accurate records and reports as required by regulatory bodies.">
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.">
  5. Foster positive relationships with residents, their families and external agencies.">
  6. Recruit, train and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and competencies to provide excellent care.">
  7. Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure efficient use of funds.">
  8. Participate in on-call requirements depending on the needs of the service.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • A proven track record of managing Residential Services.">
  • Experience as a Manager within a Residential setting looking after adults.">
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and regulations.">
  • Background of working with Adult Learning Disabilities and Autism.">
  • Clear DBS/CRB check.">

Working Hours and Location

">

The service operates Monday to Friday with on-call requirements depending on the needs of the service. The location is easily accessible from major towns and cities in the surrounding area.

Salary

">

The salary range for this position is £42,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
