Mental Health Act Administrator

Rushcliffe Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Mental Health Act Administrator at our Aberavon location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the function undertaken on behalf of the Hospital Managers, including attending training sessions and quarterly business meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop relevant knowledge and understanding to support the function undertaken on behalf of the Hospital Managers.
- Attend training sessions and quarterly business meetings to stay up-to-date with legislation and current practice.
- Communicate sensitively and effectively with service users and maintain appropriate relationships with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements:
- Ability to scrutinise, interpret, and challenge complex information presented both orally and in written report format.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to write clear and concise records.
- Demonstrate total commitment to confidentiality and set guidelines.
- Computer skills and access to PC.
- Knowledge and awareness of legislation associated with the MHA 1983.
