Job Title: Senior Sales Director - Technical Sales

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Director - Technical Sales to support customers in the United Kingdom, Europe, and The Middle East. As a division of Vishay Intertechnology, Vishay Specialty Thin Film focuses on custom manufacturing of highly engineered thin film circuits and components for use in critical applications in defense, aerospace, satellite, medical, industrial, electric vehicle, and 5G market segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounts in the defined territory from a sales and business development perspective.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
  • Monitor the results of sales activities against planned objectives.
  • Maintain and improve customer service quality by following documented processes, recommending improved policies and procedures.
  • Achieve assigned sales, account development, and other targets.
  • Function as a key participant in sales negotiations with major customers in order to close sales.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor, RF, and/or microwave sales positions with a demonstrated history of progressive achievement.
  • Technical bachelor's degree required or equivalent in experience.
  • Must be able to travel 15% - 25% of time.
  • CRM experience is required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software tools.
