Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Specialty Thin Film is currently seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Sales responsible for supporting customers in the United Kingdom, Europe, and The Middle East. As a division of Vishay Intertechnology, Vishay Specialty Thin Film focuses on custom manufacturing of highly engineered thin film circuits and components for use in critical applications in defense, aerospace, satellite, medical, industrial, electric vehicle, and 5G market segments.
Job Location:
This role is a remote position with travel required.
- Manages all accounts in the defined territory from a sales and business development perspective.
- Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.
- Monitors the results of sales activities against planned objectives, reporting the results to senior management and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintains and improves customer service quality by following documented processes and recommending improved policies and procedures.
- Achieves assigned sales, account development, and other targets.
- Functions as a key participant in sales negotiations with major customers in order to close sales.
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor, RF, and/or microwave sales positions with a demonstrated history of progressive achievement.
- Technical bachelor's degree required or equivalent in experience.
- Must be able to travel 15% - 25% of time.
- CRM experience is required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software tools.
