About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Research Manager to join our team at Queen Mary University of London. As a key member of our Faculty's Senior Research Managers, you will provide high-level professional advice and support for the ongoing development and implementation of School research strategies, innovation activities, and impact strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage administrative services supporting research activities, ensuring effective coordination and communication with stakeholders.
- Lead on the operational support and management of research funding in the School for Biological and Behavioural Sciences, including financial reporting and management of bids and proposals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with colleagues in central Professional Services, including the Research Services Directorate, VP Research and Innovation's office, and Marketing and Communications.
- Support academic staff in developing knowledge of academic research areas and linking these to national and international funding opportunities.
About You
We are looking for an individual with excellent analytical, financial management, and communication skills. You should have a strong understanding of academic research areas and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
