The Impact Team plays a crucial role in achieving this vision by collaborating with knowledge exchange teams to provide comprehensive support for researchers seeking to maximize their impact. The team's responsibilities encompass:

  • Cultivating a research impact-driven environment through training, networking opportunities, and capacity building initiatives.
  • Providing specialized guidance on developing, documenting, showcasing, and evaluating the impact of Queen Mary's research endeavors.
  • Managing systems and processes for analyzing and capturing impact activities and evidence effectively.
  • Administering the Queen Mary Impact Fund, including allocations from our Impact Acceleration Account.
  • Supporting preparations for the Research Excellence Framework (REF) by enhancing the quality of impact-related materials submitted by Queen Mary.

About You

This role presents an exceptional opportunity for individuals with experience in supporting research impact and/or knowledge exchange. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in the diverse ways research from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry can lead to tangible impact, ideally with prior experience in a similar role or field. The successful applicant will join a dynamic and supportive team, offering numerous opportunities for professional growth.
