Nursing Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to take on a leadership role as our new Unit Manager at Woolston House care home in Warrington. This exciting opportunity will enable you to utilise your nursing skills and experience to make a real difference in the lives of adults living with acquired brain injuries, complex mental health needs, dementia, and physical disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of nurses and care colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement effective care plans and risk assessments to meet the medical, physical, and emotional needs of residents.
- Act as Named Nurse for allocated residents, overseeing their care profiles and ensuring timely updates.
- Manage the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal of medication within the unit.
This is a management position that requires post-registration experience and/or training or qualifications. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, supervision, and communication skills, as well as a good standard of digital literacy.
