About the Role

Barchester Healthcare seeks a dedicated and ambitious Registered Nurse (RGN) to fill the position of Unit Nurse Manager (General). This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents by planning, managing, and monitoring the delivery of nursing care that meets their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement person-centred care plans that take into account the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
  • Manage and monitor the delivery of nursing care, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent care.
  • Build relationships with local regulators and social services to ensure that our residents receive the support they need.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered nurse with a current NMC registration. You will also need to have experience in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, as well as an up-to-date knowledge of recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks.
