Learning Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Educational Assistant in SEN. As a valued member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting children with special educational needs across various school settings.
About the Role:
You will provide one-to-one support to students, ensuring they receive personalized attention and care. Your primary focus will be on helping students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each child.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the holistic development of each student.
- Monitor and record student progress, celebrating their achievements and identifying areas for further support.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, teachers, and parents. You will also have a keen eye for detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports. A strong understanding of SEN principles and practices is essential for this role. We welcome applications from individuals with relevant experience or qualifications in special educational needs. The estimated salary for this position is £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
