Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Support Specialist to work with students aged 11-19 who face autism, learning disabilities, and communication challenges. As part of our team at Randstad, you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive and supportive environment that enables our students to thrive.

About the Role
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to ensure a positive and engaging learning space.
  • Provide tailored support to individual students, adapting strategies to meet their unique needs.
  • Foster strong relationships built on trust, respect, and empathy, helping students feel valued and secure.
  • Develop and implement effective behavior management techniques, promoting positive interactions and outcomes.
  • Assist with personal care tasks as needed, prioritizing the well-being and dignity of our students.
Requirements
  • Experience supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent experience.
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C/Level 2 or above).
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection principles.
  • A flexible and creative approach to meeting diverse student needs.
