About the Project: The ASPIRE Project is a shared education initiative funded through PEACEPLUS. It aims to provide direct and sustained contact between children from all backgrounds, promoting social cohesion and reducing sectarianism.
The Role: We are seeking to recruit a team of seven Northern Ireland Education Project Mentors to work within the Early Years Team on a fixed term basis.
Main Responsibilities:
- To contribute to the delivery of existing services and developments within the Early Years portfolio with a clear focus on leading improvements within the sector.
- Work collaboratively with the Early Years Team to develop and deliver the ASPIRE project in line with project objectives.
- Provide high-quality support and guidance to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the project.
- To lead on the coordination of events, meetings, and training sessions as required by the project.
- Collaborate with external partners, including Léargas, Fermanagh Trust, and National Childhood Network, to ensure the effective delivery of the project.
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of the education sector and experience working on projects related to shared education. A proven track record of developing and delivering educational programs is essential.
Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.
