Executive and Communications Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to support the Commissioner and Chief Executive in their work, contributing to delivering our vision to improve the lives of all victims and survivors.

About the Role
  • Provide strategic communication support to the Commissioner and Chief Executive, preparing materials for meetings and events.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with stakeholders and promote the Commission's work.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver projects and initiatives that meet the needs of victims and survivors.
About Us

The Commission for Victims and Survivors for Northern Ireland is a statutory body responsible for promoting the interests of victims and survivors of crime. Our mission is to ensure their voices are heard and their rights are respected.

Requirements
  • A degree in communications or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to suit different audiences.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience of working in a similar role, preferably in a public sector organisation.
Salary and Benefits

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme and annual leave.
