Strategic Account Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team at Ogilvy. As a key member of our account management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of one of our largest and most valuable accounts in the immunology space.
About the Role:In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for managing a global and EU med affairs and commercial project, working closely with the Business Director, Scientific Director, and wider account team to develop and execute strategic plans that meet our clients' needs.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the overall financial management of the account, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Lead and deliver multiple medium and large-sized projects, including symposia, booths, congress, sci comms, social & patient engagement work.
- Maintain an understanding/overview of all projects across the account and review materials to ensure alignment with client brief/objectives and account/product strategy.
- Regularly review the overall account programme and client objectives with the Account Director and proactively advise client on new issues/external environment that may have an impact.
- Provide expertise, leadership, and experience to the internal team and actively manage and develop team members.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent time management skills, be dependable, conscientious, keen, and reliable, with the ability to juggle and prioritise tasks, meet challenging deadlines, and find solutions.
About You:- Previous experience as a Senior Account Manager within a medcomms or meded agency.
- A track record of success in project management and delivery across a variety of medical education projects, as well as financial management.
- Good understanding of pharma regulations.
- Desire to grow and develop our business as well as personally within the role.
