About the Role

We are seeking a Counsellor on Placement to join our team and provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in Place2Be partner schools.

The successful applicant will work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children offering one-to-one counselling, providing a high level of support through regular supervision, tailored training workshops, and a well-recognised clinical placement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in Place2Be partner schools.
  • Work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children offering one-to-one counselling.
  • Participate in regular supervision, tailored training workshops, and a comprehensive induction programme.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Counselling (Level 4 or above) or relevant experience of direct work with children.
  • Commitment to improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required.
