Supporting Young People's Mental Health Transitions
Coleg Cambria invites applications for the position of Mental Health Wellbeing Transition Officer. As a valued member of our team, you will contribute to creating a safe, supportive environment for learners to succeed. Your expertise in mental health support and transition planning will enable you to make a tangible difference in the lives of young people and their families.

About the Role:
This full-time, fixed-term position (until November 2025) is based at our Yale campus and includes an estimated salary of £26,842 - £29,380 per annum. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven track record of supporting learners with mental health needs. Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and maintaining relationships with local schools and educational institutions
* Providing individualized support to learners with mental health concerns
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective transitions and support services
* Maintaining accurate records and reports on learner progress and outcomes

Requirements:
* Level 3 or above in a relevant mental health or wellbeing qualification
* Proven experience of working with young people who have mental health concerns
* Strong administrative and organizational skills, including confidentiality handling
* Personal resilience to cope with challenging situations
* Proficiency in digital literacy and ability to develop teaching and learning techniques
* Welsh language skills are desirable
