As a key member of Cameo Consultancy (Recruitment) Limited, you will be working in a dynamic environment as an HR Administrator. Your primary role will be to provide administrative support across all HR functions, focusing on training and recruitment needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Training:
    • Organise internal and external training needs, and maintain records as necessary.
    • Conduct HR inductions for new starters and other HR training as required.
    • Implement the company's Work Experience Programme.
    • Implement the company's Apprenticeship Programme.
  • Recruitment:
    • Manage the recruitment needs of the company.
  • Administration:
    • Perform HR administration tasks related to the employee lifecycle.
    • Maintain the HR and T&A system with any changes affecting HR or payroll within relevant payroll timescales.
    • Ensure adherence to relevant legislation and maintain accurate records.
    • Manage multiple HR inboxes.
    • Respond to queries from colleagues and managers regarding policies and benefits, escalating to the HRBP when necessary.
    • Deputise for the HRBP in the payroll process as required.
    • Assist the HRBP with projects and other ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Strong administrative background.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in HR administration processes, including onboarding, recruitment, disciplinary, and absence management.
  • Knowledge of HR employment practice, including basic employment law and HR best practice.
  • Valid driving licence and ability to travel to other sites when required.
  • Proven experience of using HR systems.
  • CIPD/part CIPD qualified, although this is desirable but not essential.
  • Effective and clear communication skills and recognition of the importance of achieving a positive customer experience.
  • Excellent personal and professional integrity, discretion, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organised.
  • Ability to manage a diverse and busy workload, identifying risks, prioritising effectively, deliver to deadlines, and respond according to business/employee needs.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as a member of a team.
  • Flexible and willing to take on new areas of work and responsibilities.
  • Motivated to use initiative and innovate, with a solutions-focussed approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work with a wide range and varying levels of employees.
  • Have a systematic and logical approach.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
