About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Travel Money Advisor to join our team at Tesco Newton Aycliffe. As a Travel Money Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting our retail customers with their foreign exchange needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Nurture and form relationships with customers to understand their travel and currency requirements.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor, providing support and advice on Travelex products and services.
  • Process foreign exchange transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Deliver on key performance goals, both procedural and customer-focused.
  • Utilize your attention to detail to process daily online FX requests and deliveries.

Requirements:

  • Numerical proficiency, with a firm grasp of numbers and handling large amounts of cash.
  • IT proficiency, with a basic understanding of computers and in-house till systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
  • A desire to succeed and make a difference in the role.
