At Intercom, we're revolutionizing customer service with AI-first technology. As a Product Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop technical plans and contribute to our technical architecture as we scale our products to serve millions of users daily.
  • Write high-quality Ruby code, integrating AWS, infrastructure, platform, and SaaS technologies that form the core of Intercom's backend infrastructure.
  • Ship changes to production on your first day and features in your first week, leveraging our automated deployment process.
  • Mentor junior engineers and interview candidates, growing your team's capacity and contributing to our company's growth.
What We're Looking For:
  • 2+ years of industry experience in software engineering, preferably building SaaS products, with a proven track record of delivering value to customers.
  • Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language, such as Ruby, Python, or JavaScript, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Experience collaborating with product teams, designers, and researchers, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Experience with distributed systems and a passion for building scalable, efficient solutions.
