HR Business Partner

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled HR professional to join our People & Communications teams as an Employee Relations Advisor. In this role, you will work closely with People Business Partners and Employee Relations Specialists to provide expert support with employee relations cases, performance management, engagement, retention, data analytics, and general administration.
This is a permanent role based in West Yorkshire, Keighley, and reports directly to our People Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic advice and coaching to line managers on employee relations processes and legislation.
- Prepare for and participate in investigations, disciplinary, capability, grievance meetings, and appeals; ensuring cases are managed promptly, professionally, and in line with established procedures.
- Manage short-term sickness absence cases, with involvement in meetings to address the issue.
- Offer end-to-end support on maternity, paternity, shared parental leave, and flexible working requests, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Advice on, and participate in, probationary review meetings to ensure smooth employee onboarding.
- Support offboarding of employees, conduct exit interviews, and analyze feedback to help improve the employee experience and retention strategies.
- Respond to HR queries throughout the business, providing accurate and timely information.
- Collaborate in implementing and delivering HR initiatives, projects, and programs related to our people strategy, enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Significant HR experience with a focus on employee relations, preferably in a similar environment.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
- Able to build strong relationships and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring prompt and efficient case management.
- A proactive and positive can-do approach, embracing challenges and opportunities for growth.
- Strong IT skills, with experience using Workday systems being beneficial.
- Flexibility for occasional travel to support employee relations cases in other locations.
This role offers a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including annual bonus, KONE pension scheme, 25 days' holiday + 8 bank holidays, and an employee assistance program.
