Job Description

Change Recruitment is seeking a visionary leader to oversee the development of innovative insurance products. As Head of Product (Insurance), you will drive growth, create impactful strategies, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies that align with business goals, driving both short-term success and long-term growth.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of financial products from ideation and development to market launch and performance optimisation ensuring competitive positioning and value creation.
  • Business Development & Growth: Identify new market opportunities and partnerships, including alliances, collaborations, and potential mergers or acquisitions, to expand the business and enhance product offerings.
  • Financial Accountability: Lead budgeting, financial planning, and business case development to ensure products deliver strong ROI and meet key performance targets.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure product lines adhere to regulatory requirements and mitigate potential risks, protecting the organisation's reputation.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and high performance.

  • Product Development Expertise: Extensive experience in product lifecycle management, from conceptualisation through to market success.

  • Leadership & Collaboration: Track record of building and leading diverse, high-performing teams with a shared vision and clear goals.
  • Negotiation & Stakeholder Management: Skilled at negotiating high-value partnerships and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
