About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Mental Health Practitioner to join our CAMHS Urgent Care Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health support to young people in crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, formulate, and support young people and their families in crisis situations.
  • Offer targeted follow-up interventions in a range of therapeutic modalities.
  • Manage mental health risk and work with the network around the young person to ensure safety and wellbeing.
Requirements
  • Relevant post-registration experience in CAMHS, Acute Mental Health, Crisis Team, or Liaison Psychiatry.
  • Competency in completing comprehensive mental health assessments and risk management plans.
  • Experience in developing robust care plans and safety plans.
  • Understanding of responsibilities in relation to Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, CPA, and Safeguarding.
