Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional graduate to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting children with severe learning difficulties and speech, language, and communication needs.

This role provides a unique opportunity to gain experience working alongside qualified professionals in a nurturing environment that promotes students' learning, development, and language acquisition.

The successful candidate will work closely with the teaching staff, therapists, and support staff to deliver tailored interventions that make a tangible difference in the lives of our students.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized learning experiences for students
  • Behavioural and pastoral care
  • Collaborate with therapists on forward planning
  • Foster robust relationships with students
  • Implement practical approaches to meet individual student needs
  • Excel in interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exhibit empathy, compassion, and strong listening skills
  • Engage in 1:1 and small group work with students
  • Ensure student safeguarding in accordance with procedures
  • Provide personal care support

A salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (based on 190 days) or £90 - £110 per day, Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 4:00pm, term time only.
