Senior Nursing Leadership Role in Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

We are committed to delivering optimum quality patient care and are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to lead the delivery of clinical elements of the Making Room for Dignity project. This secondment will focus on supporting the clinical readiness for building and environmental changes in transferring our existing wards into their new environment.

The successful candidate will provide strategic clinical leadership, ensuring patients receive quality care, and staff are empowered to take on a wider range of clinical activities. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures
  • Ensuring staffing levels meet patient needs
  • Improving unit/ward cleanliness and patient nutrition

The ideal candidate will have a degree or professional qualification (RMN/RNLD), evidence of continuing professional development, and experience in leading clinical/nursing strategic change initiatives. A proven track record of writing and developing clinical policies and procedures is essential.

This is a full-time, part-time, job share, or flexible working opportunity, reporting to Becki Priest (Deputy Director of Transformation). The salary for this role is approximately £53,755 to £60,504 per annum, pro rata.
