Buying & Merchandising Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Buying & Merchandising team as a Buying & Merchandising Assistant. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the buying and merchandising process, ensuring the smooth operation of our stores and web platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor stock levels and sales performance across all stores, identifying opportunities to optimize stock movements and improve sales.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of buying files, ensuring accurate and timely information sharing with stores and the web team.
  • Chase brands for order confirmations and verify against placed orders, ensuring timely delivery of stock.
  • Review and analyze sales data, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including stores and the web team.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create and maintain complex spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
