About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in North Bristol. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum, SLD, and complex needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to implement individualized Education Health Care (EHC) plans.
  • Support students with their academic and personal development, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain a supportive learning environment.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.

This full-time position is term-time only, with working hours from 8:30-3:30, Monday to Friday. We welcome applicants who can utilize public transport, although access to a car is advantageous due to the location.

Salary Information: £29,250 - £39,750 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
