We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiographer to join our team at Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Set up and operate all radiographic equipment, including integrated computer systems and hardware.
  2. Process, examine, and evaluate radiographs to ensure high-quality images.
  3. Assist radiologists with procedures, such as film programming and contrast injection.
  4. Prepare instruments, guidewires, catheters, syringes, and injectors using sterile techniques.
  5. Position patients to assist radiologists in obtaining optimal views of affected areas.
  6. Greet and reassure patients, explaining exams in a way that puts them at ease.
  7. Respond to after-hours callbacks on an emergency basis.
  8. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

An Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology and a minimum of one year's job-related experience or equivalent is required. CPR certification and registration from the ARRT are also necessary.
