Veterinary Assistant Specialist

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Veterinary Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Antech Diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities- Specimen Processing: Accurately process standard requisitions and remove specimens from transport bags.
- Data Management: Enter patient, client, and specimen data, and label specimens as needed.
- Specimen Distribution: Sort specimens for distribution throughout the lab and maintain inventory of specimens.
- Turnaround Times: Ensure Turnaround Times (TATs) are met and comply with appropriate specimen storage requirements.
- Quality Control: Perform all required quality control per QA guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Proven laboratory experience in a veterinary or clinical setting.
- Attention to detail, organized, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
