About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire. As a key member of our Emergency Duty Team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, providing high-quality social work services to vulnerable children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking assessments, planning, and implementing social work plans to ensure the welfare and safety of children.
  • Engaging in direct work with children, families, and carers to build resilience and reduce dependency on services.
  • Representing Children's Services in Family Courts and statutory panels as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory legislation and experience working with children in need, protection cases, or family proceedings.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
