Tec Partners Limited is seeking an experienced Care and Welfare Professional to join our animal care team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the welfare and well-being of our animals, as well as supporting staff and students.

The salary for this position is £22,997 per annum, reflecting the demands and responsibilities of this role. We require a minimum of 37 hours of work per week from the successful candidate.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing animal husbandry, including cleaning, feeding, watering, providing enrichment, and enclosure maintenance
  • Supervising students from level 1 to 6 within Animal Care working on the practical unit
  • Maintaining animal health records
  • Stock taking and supporting with the maintenance of stock records and accurate record keeping

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a focus on day-to-day animal care, and meet the following qualifications:

  • Level 2/GCSE English and Maths or willingness to work towards
  • Level 2 or higher qualification in a related area or willingness to work towards
  • Experience working in an animal establishment
