About the Role
We are recruiting for a Procurement Specialist to join our client's team in the UK. As a key member of the procurement function, you will be responsible for managing current and prospective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will collaborate with the Head of Procurement to develop and refine the existing buying strategy, ensuring alignment with customer needs. They will also monitor pricing and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal prices and service levels.
Requirements and Skills
- Background in distribution, wholesale or FMCG.
- Experience in procurement and commercial strategy.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
- Effective negotiation skills and ability to set SLAs.
- Advanced forecasting abilities and analysis of market trends.
