About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at the National Trust. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our café and restaurant areas are run efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of hospitality staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food and beverage quality.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage operations are run in accordance with National Trust policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
