The Job
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at an SEN-school in the Barnstaple area. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience working in SEN settings and a strong understanding of different types of special educational needs and strategies to support them.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with SEN
- Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support
- Collaborate with other teachers and professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of students
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in team meetings and parent conferences
