Business Development Manager

Main Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to handle OE Sales operations in Ford Europe Sales Department.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing powertrain products, including quoting and negotiating design changes, managing phase out and service requirements, performing sales analysis, and creating long-term sales plans for manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage powertrain products, including quoting and negotiating design changes
- Manage phase out and service requirements
- Perform sales analysis and create long-term sales plans for manufacturing
- Promote new technology, such as fuel cell and hydrogen products
Personnel and Resources
The successful candidate will work independently and collaboratively with others to achieve business objectives.
They will be responsible for efficiently using available resources to progress work successfully.
Planning and Decision-Making
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for making ASP/RSP, LTP, and G&Os for the responsible area of businesses to effectively achieve targeted goals.
They will also be responsible for creating and implementing adequate strategies for business acquisition, pricing, delivery, debtor control, and phase out of the responsible businesses.
Reporting and Supervision
The Business Development Manager will report to an Account Manager and will have daily contact with Ford Europe and relevant internal Business Units, affiliates, and plants.
Working Conditions
The role will be based in a home office environment with occasional travel to Epping, Coventry, and Dunton.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent.
