About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Executive to join our clients small, friendly, family-run business in the manufacturing industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the owner of the business, driving growth through customer engagement and new business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contact and arrange meetings with customers to discuss their needs and preferences.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Provide exceptional aftersales support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Upsell parts and services for machinery to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Travel to customer locations as required, with occasional overnight stays to ensure excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Previous outbound sales experience is essential, with a proven track record of success.
  • Comfortable meeting people face-to-face and building rapport with customers.
  • Driver's license required, with the use of a company pool car initially, and a company car provided later.
  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering is advantageous, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven, with a passion for sales and a desire to contribute to the success of a growing family business.
