Job Advert

Job Summary
- Raising Proforma and VAT Sales invoices
- Processing cash receipts
- Building relationships with Key Customers
- Pro-actively work with customers to ensure cash is received in a timely basis to avoid overdue debts
- Being pro-active about chasing pro-forma payments to avoid delays in despatch
- Dealing with invoice queries - effectively working with other departments (especially sales)
- Preparing and publishing weekly outstanding reports to directors
- Prepare monthly sales analysis
- Other adhoc tasks as required to support the Finance Team

Accountabilities
- Proactively manage the Sales ledger function
- Establish key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Accuracy and Attention to detail at all times

Health & Safety
- Ensure safe working practices are maintained and current legislation adhered to
- Comply with company health and safety policy and procedure
- Maintain good housekeeping standards and improve where necessary

Person Specification

Requirement Essential Desirable

Qualifications - On the job experience in a sales ledger or credit control position - AAT Qualification

Experience and

Knowledge - Access supply chain or similar Accounting Systems - Sales ledger and/or credit control experience - Posting cash receipts - Dealing with Paperless working
