Job Title: Senior Project Manager

At Manpower UK Ltd, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team and contribute to the delivery of our Skynet Service Delivery Wrap Contract. As a key member of our programme delivery team, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of satellite communication systems within the defence sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of complex engineering projects, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project delivery aligns with customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement processes, tools, and systems to drive innovation and high-performing team culture.
  • Manage project risk, ensuring minimal business risk exposure and effective risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Define acceptance criteria for contracted deliverables, produce professional handover documentation, and ensure timely close-out of milestones and projects.

Person Specification:

  • APM PMQ, Chartered status, or equivalent (advantageous)
  • Considerable experience in project management, preferably in the defence and telecommunication sectors.
  • Full INCOSE Systems Engineering lifecycle experience (advantageous)
  • Previous experience in leading and managing project teams, providing direction and motivation.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contract and commercial management (advantageous)
