Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Senior Clinical Counsellor to join our team, providing high-quality telephone counselling services to children and young adults. As a key member of our Mental Wellbeing Practitioner team, you will work closely with clients, assessing their needs and delivering effective support.



Salary Information:

£36,500 per annum, based on full-time hours, with part-time options available pro rata.



About the Role


In this rewarding position, you will be responsible for delivering a safe and effective telephone counselling service to clients, in accordance with Bupa's policies and procedures. You will conduct mental health triage assessments, assess and manage risk, and work in adherence to professional standards and regulatory frameworks.



Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:



  • Providing telephone counselling services to children and young adults, working with a varied mix of client presenting problems
  • Conducting mental health triage assessments
  • Achieving compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry standards


Key Skills and Qualifications:


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • A recognised Counselling diploma qualification (Level 4) or higher
  • BACP Accredited status
  • At least three years of post-qualification experience
  • Two years + experience working with Children and Young People (CYP Mental Health) / CAMHS services
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office packages (preferably including MS Teams)
