About the Counselling Placement

Place2Be is recruiting Counsellors on Placement to provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools. As a Counsellor on Placement, you will work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children, offering one-to-one counselling sessions.

Support and Development

We provide a high level of support to our Counsellors on Placement, including regular supervision, tailored training workshops, and a comprehensive induction programme. You will also have the opportunity to attend up to six optional workshops throughout the year, which are recognised as continuing professional development time.

Requirements

  • You will be a fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist, or studying towards one of these professions.
  • You will be available for a minimum of one day per week to work in a therapeutic capacity with children.
  • You will have the opportunity to discuss your location preference with us.
