About the Role

The Senior Building Surveyor will be a key member of our repairs team, responsible for managing a portfolio of projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers. The role will involve surveying customers' homes and communal spaces, producing detailed works schedules, and managing the delivery of repairs through specialist contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring timely and budget delivery
  • Survey customers' homes and communal spaces, identifying areas of disrepair and developing solutions
  • Produce detailed works schedules and manage the delivery of repairs through specialist contractors
  • Manage post-inspection of completed work and arrange payments of invoices
  • Manage issues and queries from customers and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven track record of management experience, preferably in a similar sector
  • Strong commercial acumen and budgetary understanding
  • Customer-focused mindset, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
  • Ability to present data and make effective business decisions
