About the Position

The Senior Building Surveyor will play a pivotal role in our repairs team, overseeing a wide range of responsibilities with a focus on damp, mould, condensation, and disrepair. This position strikes a balance between technical expertise and management, utilising data, systems, and technology to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Ownership
    • Manage day-to-day scoping of works
    • Offer technical support for effective resolution delivery
  • Customer and Stakeholder Engagement
    • Survey customers' homes and communal spaces following notification of damp, mould, or disrepair
    • Produce detailed works schedules
    • Issue works through specialist contractors
    • Manage post-inspection of completed work and arrange payments of invoices
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Build close working relationships with our Client United Welsh
    • Develop service excellence and a market leader in damp, mould, and disrepair resolutions

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven Track Record
    • Management experience, preferably within a similar sector
  • Commercial Acumen
    • Strong commercial understanding, coupled with budgetary expertise
  • Customer-Focused Mindset
    • Ability to create an environment that motivates and develops colleagues
    • Capacity to present data effectively for business decision-making
