Senior Property Brokerage Manager

The Role

Manager of People:

  • Act as a coach to direct reports, driving performance and training needs to achieve business objectives.
  • Responsible for managing, motivating, and developing the skills, competencies, and knowledge of team members in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain staff competence by ensuring that staff skills or knowledge gaps are met with appropriate training and development.
  • Establish an environment that promotes respect for the individual employee and adheres to company policies and guidelines.
  • Champion the drive to develop a high-performance culture, with active and timely management of underperformance.
  • Provide leadership, direction, advice, and guidance to the team, maintaining high levels of integrity, motivation, and morale.
  • Understand a client or prospect's business, situations, opportunities, problems, and key issues to provide tailored solutions.
  • Manage senior relationships and negotiate complex placements with the insurance market.
  • Work with Account Executives and Sales Teams to determine appropriate solutions and structure and price deals.
  • Identify appropriate markets and determine placing strategies.
  • Create and grow relationships with underwriters in London and international markets at a Senior level.
  • Experience in pricing and designing conceptual programs.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with company guidelines and procedures.
  • Ensure good relationships and communication with other company associates.
  • A thorough understanding and expert real-time user of all relevant systems, including the Broking Platform.
