Future Education is seeking an experienced HLTA to lead a Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision within a mainstream school in the Purley area. This role presents a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young students with special educational needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a small team to deliver high-quality, tailored support for students with ASD and SEMH needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and other team members.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where each child can reach their full potential.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as an HLTA supporting children with ASD and SEMH needs in an educational setting.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to adapt approaches to meet children's unique challenges and learning levels.
