As a Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting children with complex needs in their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in the classroom, helping students with complex needs to access the curriculum.
  • Provide personal care to students, including toileting, feeding, and hygiene, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Support students individually or in small groups to achieve their specific learning objectives.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure students receive tailored support.
  • Monitor and document student progress to inform future planning.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with complex needs is essential.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, healthcare, childcare, or special educational needs are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Salary and Benefits:
