As a Producer Director, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality content that showcases the natural world in all its glory. With a strong focus on innovation and creativity, you will work closely with your team to bring your vision to life and meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

About the Role:

  • Salary: £50,000 - £70,700 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.
  • Location: Bridgewater House, Bristol BS1 6BX.
  • Interviews: To be held in December 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver innovative ideas for the series, working closely with the production team to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with writers, researchers, and camera teams to create engaging and informative content.
  • Oversee the entire production process, from research and pre-production to filming and post-production.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to BBC's health and safety policies and guidelines.
  • Work closely with the editorial team to ensure that all content meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field, such as film or television production.
  • Proven experience in producing and directing high-end documentaries.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and equipment, including editing systems and cameras.
