**Research and Innovation Specialist Opportunity

 

About the Job:

We are looking for a highly skilled Research and Innovation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Principal Investigator in achieving project milestones, ensuring progress aligns with planned objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of innovative computer graphics software and immersive technology solutions
  • Collaboration with the team and stakeholders to ensure project progress
  • Contribution to project design and organization, ensuring smooth execution
  • Administrative tasks, including collating and writing publications, project reports, and working papers

Requirements:

  • Experience in software development and management of extended reality systems
  • Proficiency in computer programming languages, including C#
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in developing software projects using platforms like Unity
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills

What We Offer:

  • FTE: 1 FTE (working 37 hours per week)
  • Duration of Contract: 2-year Fixed Term
  • Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 pa based on location and experience
  • Annual Leave: 35 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days
