SEN Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at GSL Education. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs within our schools in Bournemouth.
Key Responsibilities- Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of each student, fostering an inclusive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
- Student Support and Guidance: Provide individualised support and guidance to students, promoting their academic and personal development.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to create comprehensive support plans for students with SEN, and maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
- Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification in SEN education.
- Experience: Previous experience of working in a SEN school setting.
- Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of different SEN conditions and effective strategies for supporting students, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and dedication to promoting inclusion and equality in education.
